Sweet Pickins' with Mick Harrington

You are invited to our family-friendly event, featuring fun, entertainment, and, of course, plenty of strawberries to pick! A fantastic way to kick off the strawberry picking season.

You will be entertained by local rising stars Mitch Salan and Maggie Lawrence who will set the scene with their unique voices before our headline act, acclaimed Australian artist Mick Harrington—runner-up on The Voice 2021—takes the stage as part of his Australian Songbook Tour. With a repertoire celebrating the works of Paul Kelly, Crowded House, Goanna, John Williamson, Men at Work, and more, this performance will deliver a culturally rich and distinctly Australian experience in an iconic rural setting. This is Mick’s only live performance in Wagga Wagga, so it’s definitely not to be missed!

For the first time, you are welcome to bring homemade picnic dinners in reusable containers. Or let us do it for you! You can purchase food, drinks, and desserts from our farm café and licensed bar. Choose between sausage sandwiches, steak sandwiches, and hamburgers.

We ask that you please help us achieve our goal of reducing waste at the event by planning your picnic and bringing empty reusable drink bottles to fill and refill at the Riverina Water Tap2Go water station. Please read the signs when placing any rubbish in the Smallmon Brother's waste and recycling bins. Let's do this together!​​​​​
