Tours

We’ve developed our educational experiences to suit all the different age groups and interests of the people who visit our farm. For the little ones, we’ve got colouring-in activities, and for older guests or school groups, we offer guided educational tours. You can come and visit the bees, chickens, and sheep, take a peek inside our scar tree, and enjoy tasting some of the delicious products we make right here on the farm.

High School Students - Educational Tour

Cost: $25 per student for the first 12 (Minimum fee: $300 per group), then $10 per additional student.

The tour includes:

- an educational experience by a qualified expert suited to the needs of the group

- educational worksheet/s can be provided (please provide the subject and topics when making your booking)

- a choice of one of the following

(i) small ice cream or

(ii) small sorbet

Optional Extras:

During the picking season, students can pick a small punnet for an additional cost of $5 per student.

If your visit occurs during  lunchtime, the students can bring their lunch, or we can prepare a sausage sizzle for $3 per sausage sandwich; the sausages are Damara lamb, grown on the farm. We have a grassed area or a café with tables and chairs for students to enjoy their lunch.

We don’t charge the teachers accompanying the students for the tour (the option to purchase items is available).

We recommend you allow two hours for the educational experience.
